About Me

A wife, mother, and 70 something year old grandmother........I grew up in the south, graduated from nursing school, and moved to Florida 50 years ago. I worked mostly part-time as a bedside nurse while raising my children. Now my husband and I are retired.

I am an ISFJ Myers Briggs type. We are the caretakers and nurturers of the world - usually with careers in nursing, secretarial work, and in elementary school teaching.

My interests are the usual feminine and housewife interests - my family and my home. I am addicted to my computer. It makes wonderful lists and schedules. I use it to organize my recipes. I work with my photos and make digital scrapbooks. I occasionally sell on Ebay. And Google has an answer for all of my questions. Now I am expanding into blogging!

I certainly do not have much talent for writing. My posts take me quite a while to do. I edit, re-edit, and then edit some more. However, I do enjoy reading blogs. Maybe that is why I am interested in writing one......... Maybe I just want the world to know that I am here..........Maybe I will make some new friends.
